Have a question before reaching out? You might find the answer below. Don't see what you're looking for? Feel free to get in touch directly.
No! We can tailor your trip to meet you where you are. If you want to try climbing for the first time, great! We'll plan to go to more approachable areas to ensure a fun, confidence-building experience. If you're looking for harder or more advanced climbing, we can prioritize that as well!
The short answer is none! We can provide all the technical equipment you need for a day of climbing or rappelling, including climbing shoes, a harness, a helmet, etc. We'll ask you to bring clothes that you can be active in, shoes you can hike in, food and water, and maybe a small backpack to carry it all in. That's it! We'll take care of the rest.
A base level of fitness is helpful, but you don't have to be a professional athlete! The approaches to climbing can be up to 30 minutes of fairly steep hiking, but we can adjust our pace to fit everyone's level of fitness. As far as climbing goes, anyone can try!
Chris lives in Boulder, but travels across the Front Range of Colorado to guide. Some popular places include Eldorado Canyon, the Flatirons, Boulder Canyon, and Clear Creek Canyon.
That's up to you! If you're interested in trying climbing inside first, or want to work through technical concepts indoors before heading outside, get in touch. Chris is also a private instructor at Movement Climbing + Fitness and it may be possible to practice inside. Pricing will vary.
The choice is yours! If you'd prefer to come with some friends, that's great! For single-pitch climbing, the typical group size can be up to 6. If you have a larger group, get in touch. If you'd rather climb solo, that's ok too! Some courses have a minimum of 2 participants to run, but if you're interested in a specific climb or learning a specific skill, please reach out!
Great question. Right now, Chris is working on building his client base and still guides under permits and insurance from other guiding services. There's no direct way to book on this website, but after details are finalized, you can pay the guide service we'll be climbing under via Zelle or Venmo for no fee, or credit card with a 3% processing fee. Feel free to reach out to Chris with questions.
